Hopes aren't always successful

Hello from Area51, today we have a sad new, our hope from football, Carles Sig has broken his interior ligament of his right knee.

Carles is a player from R.C.D Espanyol who was going to sign up to F.C.Barcelona team.

Last Friday Carles was training when one of his mates hit him and then he broke his ligament.

We're very sad because he was very excited about going to”La Masia” and to be able to know some F.C.Barcelona's stars.

Here we have his statements after broking his ligament:

-Well, these are things that can happen when you're a football player, football is like this, but I think that some players could contain themselves. I was really excited about this project, about knowing Messi, or Xavi. I love F.C.Barcelona, I think it's the best football club in the world and I also love the way they play, I'm really sad about this, but I can't feel discouraged, because life continues. Now I have to rehab my knee.

From the station we send our condolences to Carles and we encourage him to continue with football and to fight for his dream, which is to play in the best football club in the world.
